As another year draws to a close, it’s time to look back at another amazing year at Wellington Barn!

This year we welcomed over 10,900 guests to Wellie Barn. From Weddings to Corporate Fun Days, we really have had a variety of events take place this year.

The Weddings

100 Couples said ‘I Do’ , which is just one of the many highlights of the year. From the Old Barn, to the Flower Meadow we really have catered a variety of ceremonies.
This year we were made a licensed premise, which means we can host your legal ceremony anywhere on the grounds.

Some of our couples have taken advantage of this, and we have seen legal ceremonies take place on our patio and in our flower meadow for the first time!

Ceremonies are such a special part of the day, so sometimes an extra special ring bearer is required. We have welcomed a number of our couples dogs for the ceremony and drinks reception. This summer we even welcomed Billie the Owl from Apollo Falconry who delivered the rings at one of our outdoor ceremonies.

In July, we celebrated our 1000th Wedding. Where we surprised Mr & Mrs Fowler on their special day. We have a super exciting interview with them, which will be coming soon, so watch this space!

This year we have seen so many amazing things from a Groom arriving on a tractor to wedding guests having a tug of war on the lawn.

We are so excited to see what the Weddings of 2025 bring.

The Suppliers

Wedding Suppliers play such a special and crucial part on aWedding Day and this year we welcomed 259 different suppliers to the Barn. Some suppliers attended more than others so we wanted to give a special shout out to our top 4 attendees of 2024.

The Team

This year we said goodbye to some long-standing members of our Wellie Barn Team, however this has meant we have welcomed some amazing new members.
Our core team is made up of Keri, Jade, Millie and Georgia.
In 2025, we will learn a bit more about our team members and what they love about Wellington Barn.

The Styled Shoots

Organised by our Venue Manager Jade, we hosted 2 Styled Shoots. Fully created by Jade, we captured a hot pink summer and a blue winter theme. The photos produced from these shoots have been posted far and wide by different suppliers. Our summer shoot was also published in The Big South West Wedding Fayre Magazine.
These shoots wouldn’t be possible without the Suppliers that volunteer their time to take part on the day.
