Wellington Barn can seat up 150 guests comfortably for dinner within the main dining room. Tables can then be added underneath the skilling area within the dining room to seat 180. Capacity for the evening is 300 guests.
All appointments prior to or after booking must be arranged with the venue.
We are more than happy to welcome the Wedding Couple’s dog(s) for the ceremony and drinks reception, however after that, they will need to be taken off-site.
Dogs are not permitted in any of the accommodations offered.
The wedding breakfast is the first meal the bride and groom have together as a married couple. The term wedding breakfast comes from tradition of couples fasting before their wedding. The first meal the couple had together would have been ‘breaking the fast.’
The bar is card only, we are unable to run tabs for guests. We can run a tab for the bride and groom upon request, but a limit must be set and payment is due at the end of the event or morning after upon collection of their belongings.

Yes, we ask that cars are collected by 10am the next day.
Our All Inclusive pricing is based on 50 guests, if you have less than 50 you will still pay this price.
Absolutely, we are happy for you to supply your own decorations.
We allow up to 3 campervans on site, as long as all our onsite accommodation is booked out. There is a £25 pitching fee.Please note there are no plug in ports for wash facilities on site for campervans.

We’re can hold Ceremonies anywhere on the property, including the Old Barn, The Patio, The Gazebo and in our stunning Wild Flower Meadow.
If there is a date you’d like to hold, we can do this for one to two weeks with no obligation.
You can set up yourselves completely free of charge from 9am, the morning of your wedding, or the Wellie Barn Team can set up for you for £200.00.

Yes, you can! Wellington Barn is licensed for both indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies. The Old Barn which is licensed for the ceremonies can accommodate up to 120 guests. There is also the outside space to consider for a beautiful ceremony right in the heart of the countryside.

What is the earliest time I can have the civil ceremony onsite?
Civil ceremonies can start from 11am
Dates can be put on hold free of charge for 1 week. Please note that only one date can be held by a couple at one time.
We ask that all confetti is biodegradable and is used either outside in the meadow or in the Old Barn. No confetti cannons.
Any device with bluetooth can be connected to and played through our sound system. We ask that songs are put into clearly labelled playlists and downloaded so the device can be put onto ‘Airplane’ mode. Please note we do not allow our PA system to be used for evening entertainment.
Last orders are called at 23:30 with entertainment finishing and carriages at 00:00. (22:30 with carriages at 23:00 Monday-Thursday)
We have 3 Luxury Shepherds Huts onsite. All three are included in our wedding packages. Breakfast hampers are an additional extra with our caterers that will be invoiced when their final balance is due.
We have 5 luxury, fully furnished glamping tents available between April-September each year. These are £150 each and can sleep 2-4 people.
We also have Hyggee House by the lake which is half a mile from the venue (we provide transport to it at the end of the event only). This sleeps up to 10 people, and is £950 per night for a minimum of 3 nights.
There are also many nearby hotels and BnB’s, the venue has a PDF doc of local options available upon request.
We offer a Bring Your Own package, which is £10.50 per guest. You can bring as much prosecco, wine, beer, cider and soft drinks as you’d like. The BYO package runs from the drinks reception until the end of the Wedding Breakfast. We will chill and serve the drinks for you.
There isn’t much we say no to, however if you’re looking to hang anything from the ceiling please enquire with the team.
The round tables can sit up to 12 but we would say 10 comfortably. The rustic trestle tables sit 6 guests.
The exclusive use of the entire venue and all its facilities from 10am – midnight, up to 20 tables and 120 chairs (if more required a small hire fee will be incurred), free parking, PA system, Wedding Co-ordinator

Your Wellington Barn Wedding Coordinator will be on site until the end of your reception drinks, when you’ll be handed over to our catering event manager for the remainder of your day.

Yes there is a Ceremony Set Up fee of £350.00
We are licenced until 2am. Additional hours can be added at £350.00 per hour.
All crockery, cutlery, linen & glassware is included in the quote from our caterer
